Up for sale is the lovely set of large salt and pepper shakers by Carlton ware in their foxglove pattern in the rarely seen apricot colour way, the pattern dating from 1938.

This set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and only very, very minor crazing commensurate with its age. Neither of the shakers retain their original bungs. There are 2 small areas to the under side of the salt shaker which are stained, but I am not entirely unsure these aren't original to the piece when they were hand painted.
