This highly carved four drawer chest is made of Camphor Laurel and Sandalwood. The carvings are so intricate and detailed, each drawer, top and side have a different story to tell. The chest stands on carved wooden feet, I believe they are Pekingese dogs.. The photos don't do it justice. The drawers are dovetailed. It is finished in a clear lacquer.I have been told it was built in 1920 but I don't know for sure. Measurements are 1020mm wide. 500mm deep and 630mm high.It is in good condition, the drawers slide well also. If you would like to view before bidding please contact me. Thank you for looking.
