Carved Wooden Slovak/Slovakia Boy w/horn desk item

Very unusual item... It is a carved figure of a young boy sitting on what looks to be a  part of a tree with a horn in his mouth.. it looks like he is wearing some sort of Traditional Garb..the reason I list it as Slovak/Slovakian is because of what is written on the bottom... "Na pamiatku of Fara a Marieny pre tatu a uja"... It translates to "In memory of the Rectory and Marian for Aunt & Uncle"...on the base are two pieces of wood with a slit in the center...like it would hold perhaps a note paper/book...may have been brought from Europe... the base is 8" x 3", and the boy is 7" tall... quite unique... may be one of a kind... perhaps made especially for the "Aunt & Uncle".. could also be used as a bookend...
