This is a highly ornate leather cased pair of 1878 Birmingham hallmarked "Hilliard & Thomason" sterling silver ( hallmarked as such ) footed salt and pepper cruets that feature ornately reeded ball shaped finials and superb 3 footed floral embossed cabriole feet bases. The cruets within the case measures 11.5cm x 9cm x 5cm and are in good condition considering age with no structural faults or any denting and only modest surface wear on one cruet, lovely Victorian sterling cruets set !
