Cattleya orchid - Blc. Chunyeah '曾文' AM/AOS

Golden yellow with red and yellow lip 10cm+ flowers appear in spring.

On offer is a Blc. Chunyeah 'Tzeng Wen' mericlone plant with 3+ pseudobulbs 20cm+ tall growing in 100mm pot. Blc. Chunyeah 'Tzeng Wen' (Blc. Tassie Barbero x Blc. Kuan-Miao Chen - Lai Teng-Hsiung 11//6/1991) will have fragrant 10cm+ flowers that are golden yellow with a red lip. Blc. Chunyeah 'Tzeng Wen' also has oversized yellow 'eyes' in the lip that have coalesced into a semi-circular patch of intense yellow.

Blc Chunyeah is a highly succesful yellow standard cattleya grex with a number of awarded clones. The cultivar 'Tzeng Wen' was the first to garner an AOS award, receiving an 82 point AM in 1999. Many clones of this grex feature yellow 'eyes' but in the case of 'Tzeng Wen' both 'eyes' join to form a semi-circular patch. You will find that this grex is a vigorous grower and faithful flowerer hence it's popularity.
