The secret of top pros and only sold to the exclusive few in ultra high end equipment is now becoming available to the everyday racer/rider.
SILICON NITRIDE HYBRID CERAMIC BEARINGS
Hybrid ceramic bearings are bearings using ceramic balls with metallic outer rings, as apposed to full ceramic bearings which use ceramic races and balls at much higher price premiums.
These are HYBRID Silicon Nitride bearings (inner and outer races of high grade steel, and ceramic balls)
FEATURES
These bearings are made to the highest standards!
No Corners have been cut to bring the best quality from one of the largest bearing suppliers to the cycling industry.
GRADE 3 SILICON NITRIDE BALLS:
Silicon Nitride is 60 percent lighter than steel. Result is less centrifugal force, faster rotational acceleration, resulting in reduced bearing wear.
Grade 3 Silicon Nitride balls have a spherical tolerance ±0.00008mm surface finish 0.000012Ra. Grade 24 ultra high grade steel balls are ±0.00060mm 0.000051Ra. Tighter tolerances and better surface finish result in reduced friction between balls and races. Grade 5 tolerances (used in cheaper ceramic bearings) are over 50% wider than Grade 3
Silicon Nitride is up to 2.5 times harder than bearing steel. Result is Silicon Nitride balls retain their superior surface finish longer, extending bearing life. Less deflection in the ball means less energy absorbed, therefore roller rolling resistance. (Think tire pressures)
Silicon Nitride does not oxidize or conduct electricity. Result is Silicon Nitride balls retain their superior surface finish longer, extending bearing life. No failure due to moisture in/around the bearing causing rust.
QUENCHED AND TEMPERED, VACUUM DEGASSED, HIGH CARBON CROME STEEL RACES
High grade rust resistant bearing steel that is then hardened to give long lasting bearing races. The manufacturing process ensures long lasting high performing bearing races.
MIRROR FINISH bearing races to provide high quality low rolling resistant performance.
NON CONTACT SEALS AND HIGH GRADE GEASE
A high performance bearing is only as good as its seals. These bearings use a high grade non contact seal (on both sides!) for ultra low friction, combined with high performance KLUBER lubricant selected together to prove the best performance.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOUR BIKE?
Lower rolling resistance
Less weight
Less maintenance
More SPEED!

KNOW WHAT YOU’RE BUYING!
What I am selling are high grade finely finished Si3N4 Hybrid ceramic ball bearings.
Grade G3 refers to the standard of surface finish and roundness not just on one ball, but compares each ball to others manufactured at the same time.
Higher the grade (lower the G#) the better the performance.
Higher grades and materials also cost much more to manufacture, and hence sell.
Old adage, you get what you pay for.
Don’t accept inferior quality!
Although Silicon Nitride Hybrid Bearings will last longer than steel bearings under similar conditions, correct fitment and maintenance/inspection is still required. Consult a competent bike mechanic for the best practices for your application and for correct fitment and adjustment.
No additional grease/lube is required, but keeping the bearing free of dirt and dry will ensure longer life.
If you are unsure about aspects of replacing the bearings in your equipment, or lack the correct tools, consult a competent bike mechanic.
