ARTIST PROFILE:
 
  Formed in Sydney in late '94, the Challenger 7 are a rockin' little power trio that write trashy, but meaningful slices of melodic, garage pop and play them with alcoholic induced fury. Formerly a four piece made up of Ian Underwood from the Kryptonics, Richard Corey and Peter Kostic the Guitar blokes from Front End Loader, Greg Hitchcock the guitar swinger from such bands as The Verys, Neptunes and a great stint with You am I on guitar and hammond, ahhh those were the days.To date, they have released two mini LPs - the 'Morris' CD on Glorious Noise records and latest being a four track 7 inch EP entitled, 'The Great Slump Forward' on the new Australian garage rock label 'Tomboy Records' and the awe inspiring sounds of 'Payola' also on the great Tomboy label.
