Tarps and awnings, normally come with what is called grommets, these are placed through the material, and become tie down points on the tarp or awning.
WHAT IS A GROMMET? you will find them normally on or around the edge of the tarp etc, they will be either Brass or stainless steel.
You are able to buy Do it yourself Grommet kits, from any hardware store, they are very easy to fit and quite inexpensive.
HOW DO I FIT THE GUTTER GRIPPER?
By opening the Gutter Gripper removing the nylon sleeve, pass the Gripper through the grommet, then place the nylon sleeve back into position and close, and your done.
A Pair of multi grips can be of assistance in closing the Gripper.
You then slide the gripper into your existing rope guide with tarp etc attached, and in moments, you have a shelter fixed to your van/motorhome.
