Here is a Chev big block .....engine block only and main bearing caps

 too good to throw in the scrap metal bin , just needs the cam bearings knocking out and then a good hot tank and she's ready to machine

  Pick up only        ( just north of Newcastle )

Well after receiving questions about this block , I went out with a torch and measured the bore with a steel rule ...........the rule tells me its 4.125 which to me converts to a 402 big block not a 454 as was told to me years ago

this block was only ever used to set up chassis to set engine mounts etc so I had never really known until now

 its a Hi - Per Pass block and has 2 bolt main caps
