Simply slide the pins on the Universal Resetter into the slots on the Cartridge and secure it tightly so that it makes contact with the chip. 

 After a few seconds, the LED indicator will light up and flash for about 5 seconds.  This means the resetting operation has been successfully completed, and the chip is in a good state.

This UNIVERSAL Smart Chip Resetter can reset the chip on the cartridge, which stores the ink-level in its memory, to accept and record every new refilling by putting the cartridge into full mode and thereby enabling the cartridge to function as new.

The steps of the reset operation is as following:

1. Identify:   Auto identify the type of ink cartridge.
