Beautiful Retro Danish Modern/ Parker style sideboard. This piece is made from teak and teak veneer. The first section contains three adjustable shelves and the second of three green felt lined tumbler drawers and and a carved wooden wine rack. The third section contains three drawers including divided felt lined cutlery drawer and a drop front cocktail cabinet lined in white laminex, with mirrored back and glass shelf. The two double height doors have long curved horizontal handles and the drawers oval handles in solid teak. The whole piece is of very solid and high quality construction. This piece has been in the family for more than 30 years and is in very good condition, with wear consistent with careful use. There is a small chip and slight raising of the veneer in the top back left hand corner and some wear to the felt lining. All drawers and doors operate smoothly. The original tag and the Chiswick stickers have been retained. Size: 128cm wide, 129cm high and 44.5cm deep. Pickup is from Newcastle and viewings can be arranged from Sunday (27/7/08).
