Mexican Orange Blossom

DESCRIPTION

  • This evergreen plant originates from temperate Mexico and  has beautiful clusters of white orange scented flowers over Spring and Summer. It is ideal for hedging or can be used as an attractive shrub for the garden. Has glossy dark green leaves and flowers in its first season. Grows vigorously.
  • Grows 1 - 2 metres high.
  • Plants offered are well established plants growing in 75mm small pots. They are approximately 25-30cm high.
  • Sold in lots of 5. These plants would be $8-12.00 retail as they are large quality plants.

CULTURE NOTES

  • Prefers full sun/part shade and wind shelter. Can tolerate light frosts to -3 degrees or colder areas such as Canberra if planted in a warm, sheltered place. Can also be grown in full sun as a soft large leafed hedge hedge and requires little maintenance once established. Drought survivor.
  • Benefits from trimming which increases the density of the foliage. Prune after flowering.
  • Propagated from cuttings
