For sale: 1 1973 VJ Valiant Charger
Body
- VH 770 front (The grille was off for painting in the pictures below but it is on the car now).
- Devil Yellow in colour
- 770 Woodgrain Dash
- Deleted badges, engine bay holes filled and battery relocated to the boot.
- Rewired front to rear. Wiring has also been tidied and hidden. (Professionally!)
- Minitubbed (not butchered, it's been done professionally).
- A new rubber kit was also used throughout the body. No squeeks or rattles.
- No carpet, the seats are not original, but they are more comfortable. They could possibly do with a re-upholstering if you are fussy. They are similar to a base model XL seat, but more comfortable and with more options for moving the seat, lumbar support etc.
- 3 Spoke steering wheel
- Front and rear bumpers have been straightened and re-chromed. Car has No overridders on rear bumper , new bumper has been fitted.
Engine/Driveline
- 360 V8, 30' thou over Arias forged pistons (11.2 Compression), full floating rods, balanced and blueprinted assembly, solid camshaft (Big Crane 310 Commander), Yella Terra roller rockers, J Heads with mild porting and bronze guides throated with oversized Chevrolet valves and competition valvesprings and retainers/collets, handmade 4 into 1 extractors (1' 7/8 primaries) with twin 2.5' exhaust, Victor Junior intake manifold, 830 Double Pumper Holley Carburettor, Barry Grant fuel system with half inch fuel lines, (4 port fuel regulator and Barry Grant black fuel pump with Fuel Cell in the boot).
- 727 with reverse pattern full manual valvebody. 5:1 servo lever, performance clutches, B&M driveplate, 8" Dominator high stall converter.
- Ford 9" with 4.56 rear gears, Strange steel hat full spool centre, Moser billet axles and half inch screw in studs, CM Valiant finned drums.
- Four core radiator
Suspension/Steering
- Rebuilt front end, XF Front discs and VJ Calipers.
- Rear end has been rebuilt as well, leaf springs reset and relocated inboard, new handbrake cables.
Wheels
- Cragar Prostars, 15x5 inch at the front, 15x10 at the rear. Rear tyres are 15x31.5"
Item Condition
Very Good. Most of the parts on the car are brand new and never been used. Never been raced, has been driven on the street less than a handful of times in ten years.
