 SIMPLE PREVENTION. ONE THROWN CHAIN OR ROCK = FAILED CLUTCH & EXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT.

The business end of this system being the slave cylinder mounted just in front of the counter shaft sprocket.

Basically the chain picks up what it comes in contact with, small rocks, sticks etc. The worst scenario is when the chain becomes caked with mud. When this happens it acts much like a chain saw against the clutch slave cylinder. The mud and debris being carried by the chain are knocked off by this critical hydraulic slave cylinder. This part is actually scraping the mud off the chain. Within a short time in these extreme conditions the casting can be worn through. Hydraulic pressure is then lost.

In other words, no more working clutch and big $$ to replace.

Our Clutch Case Saver (also referred to as The Guard) protects the clutch slave cylinder in critical areas without adding unnecessary bulk or weight. Light weight with high tensile strength is achieved by using aerospace grade 7075-T6 Aluminium. This material is an excellent fit in the working environs of a muddy chain and sprockets.

We surround the Clutch Slave Cylinder with a very tough 7075-T6 Aluminium to protect it from chain debris, while leaving a small opening on the front side. This feature unique to the Motosportz guard will not allow mud or dirt to become trapped, allowing you the access to wash it completely. Also, the brake line bleeder valve remains fully accessible to purge air from the clutch line quickly (without removal of the guard). This guard also acts as a case saver keeping the chain on the front sprocket and guiding it out and away in the event of a chain failure
