Wise Vineyards was established in 1991 when Ron & Sandra Wise purchased Eagle Bay Estate and the adjoining Geographe Estate and nurtured the Shiraz, Cabernet and Semillon vines that were first planted in 1986.

Ron is passionate about West Australian wine and its ability to be judged amongst the worlds’ best. He has invested over 16 years into analyzing soil segments, replanting varieties and setting benchmark standards in winery & viticultural practices to ensure that Wise Vineyards produce award winning wines of distinction.

FROM THE BACK LABEL:

The cassis of Cabernet Sauvignon combines with the
spicy plumminess of Shiraz in this wine to give our
interpretation of a classic Australian dry red.

This wine shows all the characteristics of Western Australian wine
with the finesse of maturation in French oak barriques.

Tasting Note from Wine Discounters:
We personally don't find this wine too dry 
at all
- the aromas are rich, the body is 
medium to full with great structure
and
 fruit balance holding everything together

just the way it should.  The French oak 
maturation is noticeable,
but expertly 
balanced ... an all round beauty.
