COMPAQ PRESARIO V3000 (Not Working)

Good for spare parts \ possible repair.

 

This laptop was working great id just upgraded the RAM to 1GB and had a technician look over it for viruses etc because the screen wouldn't turn on. I received it back it worked great for another 3 months without a problem and then the screen issue came back - not turning on. When I press the on off switch the blue lights come on as if starting, the CD boots and fan starts but no screen (just blank). I gave up and bought another laptop so there is no point for me to go and get this computer repaired.

This would be good for spare parts or for someone with the technical knowledge in computers to repair.
Other than the mentioned problem, this laptop has served me well.
It's operating system is windows XP
I treated the computer well so it's in very good condition.

I'm not very technical and remember it's not working  but I'll try to answer any question as best as I can . I will post Australia wide there are no returns and it's sold in NOT WORKING CONDITION Happy Bidding

 Q: just out of curiosity i have the same laptop and found when i repetitively press f5 while booting it will turn on? just give it a shot could quite possibly work for you
