Cordyline australis 'Sundance' (Green and Red Grass Palm)has very green swordlike strap leaves have a very thin stripe of pink down the midrib and along the leaf's base , It is not noted for the flowers but creamy white panicles will form on older trees, and later will produce berries. an evergreen plant growing to around 6-10 metres high and spreads about 4 metres wide it is a palm-like, sub-tropical tree that grows erect until with some age it will fork to produce more heads.

This colorful plant grows great in cooler weather and is heat and drought tolerant. Ideal for garden, patio or interior.

This tree grows well in almost all conditions, preferring a fertile, well drained soil. Keep moist in full sun or part shade and they will thrive.

They make a great potted plant for doorways, bbq areas; a good, all round low maintenance tree.
