Corningware Kitchen Salt Container Blue White with lid

Another item unable to be taken to the Community Aged Care facility and now offered for sale to the true collector.

This is the kitchen salt storage utility and idenified as being manufactured between 1930 and 1960 by the stamp on the base. Original lid (ceramic and breakable) fitted to 1930's batch could have been replaced by a 'plastic' lid to stop the problem. I am unsure if this is the case but my parents were married un 1939 and many of these pieces date from this time.

It measures 13 cm - wide 7 cm deep - and 7 cm high at the front (13 cm at the back with a wall mounting hole (which has never been used)).

There are no chips, cracks or crazing and it is in near new condition and stored since the 1960's and found during packing for the recent move.

Allow $ 3.00 for bubble rap and packaging when calculating postage costs - discard this if collecting.
