This is a Voigtlander Bessa R3a Rangefinder 35mm film camera made by Cosina in Japan. It takes lenses with Leica M mount. It has frame lines for 40/90, 50 & 75mm lenses. Comes with box, case, strap, manual. Fresh battery in camera. I include the beautiful Artisan and Artist strap and three rolls of Fuji Pro160S 36 exposure 35mm film as bonuses.

The camera was purchased overseas last year (no Australian Warranty). There are some scratches in the paint on the base plate which are quite minor (as shown in the pictures attached) and the camera is otherwise in as new condition and perfect working order. I have used the camera paired with another Bessa for stereo photography which I have just sold.  Reserve is as advertised. I am not interested in swaps. Prompt payment via paypal only. Delivery via registered post including insurance.

 Q: have you used this camera with anything wider than 35mm? If so is use impared by the lack of guide marks?
A: The finder gives 1:1 magnification which is great with the 40mm framelines (allows framing/shooting with both eyes opened). The 40mm framelines are close to the edge of the finder frame. There are no framelines for views... Continue reading

A: I sold another just recently as mentioned in the description (I was using a pair of cameras for stereo photography).
