Would you like to join the Lochaber Country Club?

You will recieve a high quality credit card style ID card (with your new title if you are have also purchased one of our plots), fishing rights over a mile of river, a free booklet detailing other activities in the area, and the chance to engage in many country pursuits.

This auction is for the opportunity to become a member of the Lochaber Country Club. Membership is normally £99 per year but we are offering a special introductory rate of £9.99 for your first 6 months.

Country club members can make use of the fishing, which is based in Glen Spean, in the heart of Lochaber.  You will also receive a free full colour brochure with your membership card giving details of the activities, places to eat, and accommodation available in Lochaber as well as a map to access the fishing and a letter welcoming you to the club.

Membership provides you with full fishing rights over a mile of the River Spean (with absolutely no further costs whilst you are a member), including the rights to fish for trout and salmon and information is given to members for a wide range of adventure activities and Lordly country pursuits, such as clay pigeon shooting and archery.

 

The Membership package includes:

• A full colour brochure detailing all activities (clay pigeon, archery etc), accommodation, places to eat and tourist attractions locally.

• An introductory letter from the Club secretary

• A plastic credit card style ID card with your name on

• A map of the fishing beat, car parking instructions and driving directions.

Personalising

We will put the club membership in the name of the PayPal account holder unless otherwise specified. When you are in the eBay checkout system, on the first page there is a box to "add a message to highland_titles" Click to add a message, and put in the full name of the recipient and if they are already a Laird, Lady or Lord through us

If you forget to do this, then email us immediately with the details.

FAQ's

Q. Are there any restrictions on the fishing rights?

A. No, these are the FULL fishing rights. You can fish whenever you like - within the law - for no cost. (While you are a member of the Country Club) It is up to you to follow the laws of Scotland with regards to the seasons for the different fish you are fishing for. Under Scottish law you require the express consent of the landowner to fish for Salmon. This consent is given to you with the membership deal, and you will thus acquire the right to fish for Salmon on over a mile of the River Spean. If you intend to fish for salmon or trout, you must comply with the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 2003 and any other relevant law applying to fishing in Scotland.

Q. Is there any obligation to renew membership?

A. Not at all, if after 6 months you do not wish to renew that is no problem. We will not spam you with e-mails asking you to renew, you will not be contacted about the matter. If however you do wish to renew we can arrange that for you if you get in touch.

Q. Is there any thing else to pay for the fishing?

A. No, you will not be asked for any more money, there is no rod license law in Scotland so you don't even have to pay for that.

Returns

We can accept returns on this membership, and will refund in proportion to how much membership is left on the card.
