I am clearing my cupboards with a view to downsizing and found this old Crown Ducal bowl.  It has some minor crazing and unfortunately has a crack in one corner which goes down to the top of the wall of the bowl.  The design is green and yellow flowers and the colours are still reasonable good.  The bowl is a cream colour and the gold around the rim is still good.  The embossed pattern around the rim is lovely.  All this is reflected in the price.

I have photographed the base showing the crown above the words Crown Ducal, Gainsborough is under this and then Made in England.  Unfortunately I can't read the Reg.no. as they have printed it over the pattern number which is imprinted into the base of the bowl.

The bowl measures 8-1/2" (21.5cm) square and stands 2-1/2" (6cm) high.
