The Cottage is a very popular cubby with the kids. It is a great cubby to play in, it is flat ground installed. A cubby like this provides hours of enjoyment for children of all ages.It is great for small backyards or courtyards.

People always ask us why we use “arsenic free” treated pine it is quite simple, it is safe to have around children and pets and is not susceptible to termites and borers like ordinary pine is when left out in the weather.

Cubby House Specifications:

  • Roof: Bluescope Colour bond Steel available in a range of colours you choose the colour FREE!
  • Skylights: There are 2 Cream laser light skylights to help let in light but block out harmful UV rays.
  • Windows: 2 x Sliding Perspex Windows with clear handles.
  • Door: A solid waterproof ply door trimmed with 90mm timber, can have a choice of Heart, Star, Moon, Diamond or porthole cut out adding to this cubbies charm.
  • Veranda: Country style picket fence framed in boxed timber for added strength.  

 

Construction Specifications:

 

  • Floor Size: 2.1 (L) x 1.5 (W) metres
    • Cubby 1.5 (L) x 1.5 (W) metres
    • Veranda 0.6 (L) x 1.5 (W) metres
  • Roof Height: 1.8m at the roof pitch, high enough for adult to stand up in.
  • Cladding: Smooth Treated Pine Timber.
  • Framing: 70mm x 38mm radiata pine.
  • Floor: 90mm x 22mm Treated pine decking NOT Plywood, on top off 70mm x 38mm treated pine frame.
  • Edging: All edging on cubby i.e. Roof, Walls, Door, and Windows ect is 90mm x 22mm Treated Pine.
  • All Timbers are smooth to touch reducing the risk of splinters.
  • The cubby is secret nailed together with nail guns along with liquid nails glue for added strength and safety.
  • All nails, screws, hinges and door latches are galvanised for added protection in the outdoors. 

Please Note: All timbers used in Custom Cubbies products are environmentally Friendly & Child Safe Timbers, and should be stained, sealed, oiled or painted as timber will discolour from being outdoors.

All Custom Cubbies are manufactured especially with children in mind, we construct our cubbies out of the finest materials on the market. The same quality and grade used in the manufacturing of houses.

All Custom Cubbies products come RAW although we can stain your cubby  with 2 coats of premium oil for you prior to you picking it up or us delivery it for $170.00.
