Cudgel Quarter Staff Stick Club SCA LARP Weapon

Pine Cudgel w/ burl knob. Virginia Pine (Pinus virginiana) Harvested in 2004 Appalachian Virginia and dried for 2 years, 22”. Shaft has been left in the rough with bark still attached. Burl knob approximately 3.25” diameter, has been cleaned of bark The grip is wrapped leather lace. Hand rubbed Linseed Oil finish applied to the burl end and exposed end of the shaft, once a day for a week, once a week for a month, treatment needs to continue once a month for a year. The burl knob end is very dense and solid, sturdy enough to serve as a cudgel or shillelagh should the need arise (but let’s hope not). I selected, cut, and finished this stick myself.
