Published by angus & Robertson, the books were first printed in 1942-1946-1947 & 1948, This is the first of the combined books.  the full title is The Delightful Adventures of Catkin & Codlin & Friends.  The main characters are two silk worms. It is illustated by D.H Gilmore too.  There is no dustjacket, but the book is all intact, and with the built in page marker.  It does have a few bumps to the outer edges consistent with normal shelf life, and ther is an inscription to the previous owner,  clean and tidy.
