The ultimate statement in modern camera design, or so Konica believed when they brought out the Konica AIBORG Super Zoom 35-105. The camera is full of quirky (and often advanced) features. The overall design is certainly radical and challenging. The AIBORG (what a name!) was released at a time when the Star Wars movie was en vogue, and so it's not surprising that it quickly acquired the monikerv"DARTH VADER camera." People either love or hate it. It certainly stops them in their tracks. I happen to love it, but as this my second unit, it must go as I need to reduce my collecction.

 

CONDITION:

BODY: cosmetically good. NOTE that the battery door is loose. If you want to use it to takes picture, rather than as a static display, you either need to hold the door shut with your fingers (I tried it out) or fix it. LENS: cosmetically good no fungus, minor cleaning marks visible when inspected with a high-powered geological magnifying lens (inevitable).
