DARWIN GLASS

Darwin Glass is an Impactite - it was created by fusion when a meteorite crashed into the planet near Mt Darwin in Tasmania. The meteorite was so large it made a crater 1.5 kilometres wide, and the glass was showered up to 3 kms away. This piece measures approx 1.5 cms x 1 cms.
