DB PLUS 1212 Floorstanding speakers

Hi to all.

These speakers (pictured) are being advertised together with the Entertainment unit which was custom designed to compliment them...check out my other listing.

These Canadian "DB Plus 1212" are my pride and joy and have been for many years...
These speakers were the eon FM "speaker of the year" at a HiFi exhibition of that year... (mid nineties?)
They are very efficient, can play at high SPL (200W rms) and also have the subtlety needed to play all the good music the way it's meant to be heard.

These days, they are happy as the mains in my home theatre 5.1 setup.
Each speaker is about 20kg, consists of a tweeter, mid and 2x 12" woofers (with rubber surrounds, not foam).
They really do sound as good as the day I bought them...  (For small to medium sized rooms, you could get away without the need for a subby with these...)  (22Hz - 20khz -+3db),

The pair of speakers is $700. (This is 1/4 of the RRP.)

There is also the centre channel and rear speakers to be sold. (on inspection)
