I have no idea how old this is or where it came from, before my aunty bought it.  We know it's been in her cabinet for a long time.  My brother reckons he saw this sort of geometric patterning on copper on Antiques Roadshow, called it MachineWork or something like that, which would make it quite old.  (But I reckon he's v.unreliable!:))

So really, we dont know.  It stands roughly about 20cm across maybe 15cm high & has a few tiny dints inside, but otherwise is in pretty good condition.  I've never seen another one like it, if that's any help!

If there's anyone out there who knows what it is, maybe they'd let us know?
