This laptop has been double checked, OS and drivers have been installed and it is ready to go (expect box, power adapter and CD sleeves to show signs of having been opened. The logos on the box will be painted to avoid the risk of stealing during delivery). The OS might have been updated (eg Windows XP Pro service pack 2 updated to SP3).

Warranty: This item's final price does not include warranty. Warranty is optional. The warranty can be purchased online or over the phone from Dell Australia after the laptop has been transferred to the new owner; Dell's transfer to the new owner can take up to 20 working days. Warranty prices vary according to warranty conditions. As an example the 12 months warranty Next Business Day (8x5) Onsite Response Extension (Parts + Labour) extension for this item = $240 including GST. "Next Business Day" means that Dell will attempt first to resolve the problem over the phone of it's impossible then they will send a technician with a spare part the next business day to your home/office. This sort of warranty is much better than a "return to manufacturer" warranty where you usually have to wait 5-7 days to get your laptop back.
