This spectacular Dept 56 item is entitled POSTERN and commemorates the 10 year Anniversary (1984-1994) of the Dickens' Village Series.

This hand painted piece is an entry arch with a three-story tower next to it (5.5" wide by 5.5" high). Suspended on a sign from the arch are the words "Dickens' Village" while a red flag  (which is included) waves proudly from the roof of the arch. Wording on the side of the tower says "1984-1994". Decorated with green garlands trimmed with red bows, this piece has a gray stone foundation and a smidgen of snow still clinging to its roof.

This item is in EXCELLENT condition,and  in the original box. This wonderful Dept 56 piece would make a stupendous addition to any Christmas village scene. It is delightful!
