A fantastic retro genuine Mid-Century dining suite.
Made in Australia circa late 1950's by CRO Furniture.
CRO furniture graced many Australian households, and this style was different to many others, and was quite a desirable design.
In very good all round condition, solid wood construction with a thick and polished reddish brown laminate veneer top with a subtle wood grain pattern, it does have the usual scratches , nicks and marks that appear over a servicable lifetime, but these are quite minor.
The chairs feature a solid teak wood frame, with a superb curved matching pattern wood grain laminate veneer backrest. The seat is woven wool or wool blend over a metal base, and is removable, and also the design allows for very! easy DIY re-covering if desired.
