I am willing to keep the motor (and reduce the minumum bid price by $4500), so the bid price for the boat and trailer is now $3500.00! A gift at this price. I need to move this boat out of my shed, so take advantage of this offer while I am so inclined to make it.

You are bidding on the boat and trailer only- NO MOTOR INCLUDED. Steering controls, remain, but motor controls will be removed.
All other inclusions listed below remain with the hull.

Ditto is a 4.5 meter, rugged offshore capable fishing and diving boat.

History:
I built this ply and fiberglass boat in 1993/4.

This is the 5th boat of this type I have built, and the construction method is commonly used to build
commercial dive boats in California. I built a similar 3.6 meter fishing boat over 15 years ago here in Byron
which is still in regular used today, so the hulls do not wear out.

Features:
Wash deck (self draining) for safe bar crossings (driver skill required)
Deep V for cutting through chop with ease.
Stand-up steering for offshore comfort and visibility- this is the standard driving position
used by commercial dive boats of this variety.
Internal fuel tank with over 60 liter capacity.
In built flotation chambers throughout the hull ensure flotation in the most dire circumsatnces.
Large deck-access side pockets for storing rods, surfboards, fishing and diving gear so the
decks can be cleared for bar crossings.
Cuddy cabin for lock-up storage and shelter from squalls.
Live well and fish box under deck
Gel coat finish provides a rugged care free finish, but looks "commercial", so if you want a shiny boat, look elsewhere.

Condition:
Structural- Hull and deck and cabin are in excellent structural condition.
Finish- Serviceable for years to come, but respray would tidy her up. The bottom has had a few coats of anti-fouling
applied when I used to keep her in my marina berth at Jacob's Well, but has not been repainted since I started keeping Ditto on her trailer.
I use the boat as it is, but a new coat of anti-fouling would improve the appearance of the hull.
Braked Galv. Redco Trailer- good/excellent condition, but will need safety check for ownership transfer. (see below)
Registration: The boat and trailer are stored in Byron Bay, NSW. The trailer and boat have both been re-
registered in QLD (boat-07/2010; trailer-04/2010). The trailer will need a safety check for transfer, so it is being sold "as is" with the responsibility
of the transfer to the buyer. It's just not practical for me to get the safety check done while the trailer is here in Byron.

Reason for sale:
I have built a new, smaller (3.6m) boat of similar design for myself which I can beach launch by myself.
I do not need two boats, although having Ditto provides me with a much more comfortable and spacious
offshore craft.
