The TransDock Deluxe is no ordinary FM transmitter. The device is capable of playing the music stored in the iPod's memory over the car FM stereo, but also the iPod movies, TV shows and other video downloads on the users' in-car video system with the included AV cable. Moreover, the TransDock Deluxe comes with a compact RF remote control as well as a fully-adjustable steering-wheel cradle that allows users to safely control their iPod while keeping their hands on the wheel.

The device also sports an AV-Out port that can be used with a cassette adapter or car-audio input for transmitting directly to the car's stereo system. The TransDock Deluxe incorporates an Aux-In jack along the bottom of the TransDock, which can be used to transmit the audio from another MP3 player, laptop, or gaming system over the car's stereo.

The transmitter has been fitted with a built-in, high-powered antenna, which provides a functioning range of around 9 meters, and offers quite a lot of connectivity options for the iPod, since it includes a custom insert to accommodate iPod nanos, as well as iPod Fit Pads compatible with slimmer iPod models.
