SUSUMU ARIMA AND HIS MISTY SOUNDS
Dock Of The Bay - New Created Sounds
JVC CD-4 QUADRADISC
33 1/3 r.p.m. vinyl record
GENERAL NOTE: This is a Japanese organ record. The record doesn't note this, but it sounds like it might have been performed on an early Yamaha combo organ, specifically an EX42. If you are into this style of music, you'll know what I mean, if you are not, then maybe this record isn't for you.
Side A: (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay - The Look Of Love - I'll Never Fall In Love Again - Hey Jude - Day By Day
Side B: Up Up And Away - Sunny - Wave - Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head - Watch What Happens
JVC P1972 JAPAN 33 rpm CD-4/ QUADRADISC Cat # CD4B-5002E
General info: The cover is shelf worn. The vinyl itself is in alright condition, but the plastic insert has stuck to a small area of the vinyl on one side and there are sweat marks on it. There is some surface noise.
A GENERAL NOTE ABOUT CD-4: CD-4 is a system of encoding four channels of audio into a record groove, while still making it compatible with standard stereo equipment. To gain the full fidelity from this record a CD-4 demodulator and four channels of amplification are required. If you are happy with stereo, then your regular player will do fine. The C in CD4 stands for compatible, D stands for discrete and the 4 is for 4 channel. If you are running CD-4 records on 4 channel equipment, it's generally recommended to use a SHIBATA type stylus. These are becoming difficult to get but some are still available. If you require one of these, I'm happy to attempt to obtain what you require. I keep very few of these in stock however, due to their cost.
NEED A STYLUS? VISIT MY eBAY SHOP OR eMAIL ME- Do remember however, in line with eBay policy, all stylus sales generated on eBay must be processed through the eBay system.
The stylus or needle in your record player does actually wear out, so it is recommended to replace it from time to time. If you require a stylus or any advice on the same, I am also happy to help. Some stylii are becoming not available, but I can supply most, and do so through my eBay shop. There are quite a few selling really old stylii stock. Rubber perishes and glues let go, so make sure the stylus you get is serviceable. Some of these items are unavoidably old stock, but we have the expertise and experience to ensure you are supplied a serviceable item. We are ordering new stylii regularly.

POSTAGE The biggest enemy of postage is heat with vinyl. I make every effort to pack records as securely as possible. I don't believe padded bags are suitable and refuse to use them. I will charge the cost that Australia Post charges me. Depending on the record, some can be shipped within the up to 500 grams rate, which at the time of this notice is $5.20 Australia-wide. Others will be over the 500 grams and ship appropriately. Over 500 grams is dependant on destination. My lodgement postcode is 4020. Here is a link to the Australia Post website for your convenience. http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/aus_parcel.asp
