John Jacobs is one of golf's all-time great teachers, inducted into the Golf Hall Of Fame as an instructor, a true legend of the game who has passed on his words of wisdom to thousands of amateurs as well as to some of the world's greatest players over the last 50 years. Now, for the first time ever, the pick of his collective wisdom has been brought together in a DVD Box Set.

But it is as 'Doctor Golf', superstar teacher, that Jacobs has won his vast following wherever the game is played.

In the United States his Practical Golf Schools now attract some 20,000 pupils annually. He has been able to pass on his successful teaching methods to a formidable team of 150 instructors who staff his schools with tremendous success.

Disc 1 The Short Game:
This programme shows Jacobs covering, in detail, every aspect of this "game within a game". He offers practical guidance on various aspects of the game, including Putting: controlling the clubface and holing out, Around the Green: basic chip shot and the downhill lie and From the Sand: basic bunker shot and the 'poached egg' lie.
Disc 2 The Full Swing:
Once your swing is right, the rest of your game follows. Jacobs takes a detailed but straightforward look at all aspects of the Golf Swing and this dose of expert advice includes invaluable elements such as grip, posture, downswing, backswing and angle of attack.
Disc 3 Advanced Surgery:
This film shows Jacobs turn his attention to teaching others how to teach in order for his advice to reach more golfers. We observe him teaching golfers of all levels, among them his own US Golf Schools teaching staff of nearly one hundred along with a number of other US teaching professionals.
Disc 4 Faults And Cures:
In this film, introduced by Sean Connery, renowned for his golf fanaticism, Jacobs diagnoses the common problems of slicing, hooking, pulling and topping. He provides simple and manageable solutions, which effectively deal with each particular difficulty.
