Filmed in 1955, this version of Donizetti's DON PASQUALE tells the comedic tale of a man approaching old age, yet swept away by a young woman who he is fooled into marrying. Once wed, Pasquale's wife sets about spending all of his money, leading to a few salient lessons in life for the poor fellow. Italo Tajo, Sesto Bruscantini, and Cesare Valletti star.
