Hardcover - very good condition; externally - clean with no tears or creases, very minor surface scuffing on rear, internally - visible foxing on front & rear covers

Spine - very good condition; creasing on upper/lower edge, still stiff, book never fully opened, gold embossed title and author still bold

Pages - very good condition; foxing on upper & side edges,  foxing on first & last pages, neat inscription on first page, otherwise clean throughout, no tears, no creases, no stains
