What is on the DVD's?

(Disc One) Tommo the Camp oven cook as seen on channel 7 takes the first caravan over the Telegraph track to Cape York. Giving information on all mileage and fuel stops. Fantastic footage of 4x4 vehicles crossing the Wenlock River in flood.(There is now a bridge over the Wenlock River). Duration 60min.

(Disc Two) The Highlights of Cape York.after 40 trips to Cape York we have put together some of our favorite places and situations we found ourselves in! This DVD is over 10years old and it's quite amazing to see how the Telegraph Track has not changed much in those years. We visit Shelbourne Bay meeting Dal Nixon, the caves at Summerset with aboriginal art and gun inplacements in the mountain,visiting Thursday Is, the best fishing at Henderson Creek near Sade Pt, visiting Coen gold mines with a local identity plus much much more. Many of these places can still be visited today . Duration 60min ( this is great viewing!)

(Disc Three) Join Tommo on another adventure this time it's Opal mining in Lightning Ridge. Tommo has the job of taking a little Kanga loader into the Ridge. Along the way we visit a Artesian Baths and Cotton Farm at Moree. As usual tips about bushing cooking as Tommo does his magic with the Camp oven.When finally reaching Lightning Ridge we met the characters Lightning Ridge is known for. Tommo takes the Little Kanga down into an actual working Opal mine. This film is priceless and quite amazing. Tommo takes us through the steps of Opal mining including all the process to show us the result of the beautiful finished product.

This is an amazing adventure and to quote Tommo."It doesn't get much better than this!" Duration 60min

(Disc Four) This Way FROM Cape York was filmed in 1988 by 4x4 adventurers. We travel the east coast from Ussher Pt to Captain Billys Landing, which was the most difficult 4x4 trip. in Australia. Because of the remoteness and danger people would get into trouble easily and rescue was very difficult, hence now why this beach run is closed. Also, we go in search for old military aircraft plus some great 4x4 footage.' This Way FROM Cape York' has never been on DVD and is worth viewing. Visiting areas that can no longer be explored today. There was no development road in 1988 The Telegraph track was the only way to get to the cape.

This Way FROM Cape York is now a collectors item.

(Disc Five) Fishing Cape York we fish Seisia wharf and join a fishing charter. Great fishing on Australia's most northern tip. Also,Tommo again give us great camp oven cooking tips eg dampers on a stick that even the kids can join in.

(Disc Six) Australia by 4x4 an outback experience Euabalong to Menindee NSW following the Railway Line this is a great trip that is easily travelled even by 2 wheel drive (as long as it doesn't rain!) We come across old ghost towns and plenty of wildlife. A great alternative if you are heading for Broken Hill.

(Disc Seven) This Way to Cape York 1987 See road conditions over 20yrs ago. Filmed on VHS. Professionally edited and narrated. Visit areas that are no longer available to the public.

(Disc Eight) Discovering Australia Cape York 2005 travelling the telegraph track to the top of Australia. Visiting the Wenlock Gold mines and Vrilya Pt. Great 4x4 action.
