A. Daiwa will repair or replace without charge any Daiwa rod or reel which is defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of purchase by the consumer. Please retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. Please follow these instructions when returning rods or reels for warranty repair:

A. The average turnaround time for warranty and chargeable repair once payment is received is approximately 3-5 working days. It may vary depending on seasonal demand.

(3) All defective items returned are inspected to validate the complaint of the defect. We carefully inspect all returned items that are claimed to be defective. This does include someone actually test for the defects to make sure the items actually is defective. This is a requirement that our vendors have given to us so that we can request a credit from them for any defective products. Any item that is defective upon our inspection will be promptly replaced with a new one of the same item , and we will ship the new one to you within 48 hours, for a regular in stock item, at own expense.
