 This ideapad was bought from MSY around 6-7 months ago and still has a 5-6 months warranty left.
It has a damaged LCD as shown in the pic and needs a 200 AUD repaid according to my local computer guy.
LCD are available on ebay at a price of 110-150.

A: Hi, It just fell from my hand for a height of atleast 2-3 meters.Yes the unit works ok with an external screen and I have tested it with my external monitor.In the photo you can actually see the blue light come on.
