Art Deco mould blown green glass crackle pattern hyacinth vase Fyens Glassworks Denmark 1934 |
This tall green glass hyacinth vase is in very good condition.
The vase has a crackle pattern to the outside and a smooth banded rim. The piece has been made in a mould and there are 3 mould lines evident. The vase was made by Fyens glassworks, Denmark from 1934. An identical vase can be seen below at the Danish Glass museum.

The vase is tall and measures 225mm tall and 85mm across the base.
There are no chips or cracks. There is no etching nor is there any clouding of the glass from dishwasher use. There are a few included bubbles within the glass.
For North American users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
