Danish style dining chairs - c1970

 

DESCRIPTION
Set of solid teak dining chairs by Melbourne mid-century maker Chatley. Elegant chairs with sculptural timber backs and fine tapered legs. Each chair comes with its original cream coloured vinyl upholstery. Makers label present underneath.

 

CONDITION
In good vintage condition. They would benefit from being repolished to bring them back to their best but they have a nice patina to them as they are. The original joinery is like new, so each chair is 100% sturdy and ready to use. Each chair needs new seat strapping so I've booked these chairs in with my upholsterer and he should have them done before the close of auction. Should the winning bidder require new upholstery, say a black vinyl or fabric seat, I can provide for $50 per chair. Fabric samples available.

DELIVERY/PICK-UP
