Delille Cellars Chaleur Estate 2006 White Wine WA. This wine is 61% Sauvignon Blanc and 39 % Semillon. Delille Cellars Estate is widely considered to be the best white wine in Washington and has been stylistically and qualitively compared to Haut Brion. Rich, smoky aromas of fig, toast and crème brulée combined with the sweet straw of the Sauvignon Blanc. This is a powerhouse white wine that is youthful and complex. Pear, straw, honeydew melons and citrus peel flavors expand in the mouth. Silky, creamy textures add to the personality of the wine.
