Windows Mobile 2003 Second edition. A new operating system and exciting software bundle for a new generation of PDA’s. Great features include:

Today Screen – This screen shows a summery of how many tasks you have for the day and displays the day’s appointments.

Calendar - Will synchronise with your PC’s Outlook calendar and has 5 different views; Agenda view, 1 day a page view, 5 days a page, Month planner view and Year planner. Visual and Audio reminders can be set to ensure your never late for those meetings. Anything added to your calendar on the move will automatically be synchronised to your PC calendar next time it connects. Categories can also be assigned to ensure personal reminders are not synchronised to your work PC.

Tasks - Will synchronise with your PC’s Outlook tasks – Due dates, start dates and reminders can be set. Categories can also be assigned to ensure personal reminders are not synchronised to your work PC.

Contacts – Have all the contacts from your PC in the palm of your hand. The contacts program synchronises every time it connects to your PC, so you’ll always be up to date.

Mail – If you haven’t the time to read your E-mails in the morning before you dash out of the office for the day. Connect your device to your PC for a matter of seconds to download the days E-mails. You’ll then be able to review your inbox while your out of the office and even type up, or dictate your replies, before returning – Handy for that lost time on the train.

Notes – The note application allows you to write down those spur of the moment ideas. With the on-screen keyboard or freehand with the stylus. You can sketch pictures and there’s even and handwriting recognition mode which converts your freehand in to type.

Dictation Machine – With digital recording quality far superior to any tape dictation machine the recording function allows you to clearly record reminders, dictate letters, and even record meetings clearly.

Microsoft Pocket Excel - Fully compatible with the PC version. – A fantastic way to make alterations to your Excel files on the move.

Windows Media Centre – Listen to music through your headphones (headphones not included) or the inbuilt speakers. Watch videos. Expand your storage space with an SD card and store your entire music library on your device.

Pictures – Upload your photographs, to be viewed as full screen slide shows, or use as desktop backgrounds. Photos can also be edited using commands such as crop, rotate, brightness and contrast.

A Bright Screen. This really sets it apart from the rest. It’s clear and sharp.

Lightweight and compact. The X30 weighs only 134 grams and measures 117x77x15mm making it truly portable.

Quick Access buttons. A number of extra buttons on the face and side of the X30 make access to programs like calendar, contacts, mail, dictation machine and Windows Media centre quick and easy. There’s also a scrolling wheel on the side to scroll up and down page’s within applications. The direction pad on the front is also useful for getting around should you not want to use the Stylus.

312MHz Intel Processor. This fast processor makes access and use of applications effortless for the Axim X30

Battery running low?, far from a charger? With the X30 you can reduce the processing power of the device to extend your remaining battery life.

32MB of Memory. With adjustable storage to Program memory, you can choose where to allocate your space. For example you can increase the program memory enabling you to open more applications at a time, or increase the storage memory should you need more space to save those essential documents and contacts

32MB of Backup Storage Space. A storage area on the device that keeps you important documents and backups safe, even when the battery is dead!

SD Card Slot. Expand your device memory to store large, photo, music or document files. This slot is also compatible with SDIO wifi cards ( not included but are usually available on E bay ), these enable you to connect to Wi fi hot spots while on the move.

Rechargeable Main and Backup battery. The Device’s charging cable slots in to the underside of the unit, charging both main and backup battery’s. The backup provides up to half an hour of emergency power should your main battery run out of charge.
