This is a new design hat stretcher.

Two retired men,

Gregory L.M. Smith,  a tattoo artist,

From Stoughton,WI.

and

Raymond J Hallett, Minister of the Word ,

From Tilton,Ill

Gregory designed the stretcher and Raymond built it.

Gregory's Father was a great wood worker , building toys and all kind of things was a great insperation,

and now is home with God looking down.

The stretcher is

constructed of all new materials ,select  hard  wood  with a   red  cedar inserts and cedar caps

It will last for many years and is easy to operate.

If your stetson or resistol ,dobbs, fedora , baseball, cowboy , any other hat , is getting hard to live with

because  of a tight fit--don.t pitch it----

resize it with a Hallett Drop in Hat Stretcher

 cedar keeps away mothes, and gives your hat a fresh scent

You my get a stretcher that doesn't  look like this one due to the fact that I  am using two different types of turnbuckels

but they both work  the same and one is not better than the other--only a different style or type

After  the hat has been sitting for a long time and shrunk where it not comformable any more,

just install  the HALLETT HAT STRETCHER and custom adjust it to your fit,

The stretcher is about 7  inches closed and is about 9 inches long when open

and 6 1/2 inches wide

The stretcher is 3 1/4   inches tall

Cheaper than a new hat--will expand from one to two sizes or more.

Just lightly spray with water and adjust a small amount and put up to dry--then repeat the

same thing till you have it where you want it.

Once it has been stretched to your size and is dry,it will stay put until you change it.

If it shrinks after being in the rain or long storage,repeat the process.

Make sure the leather band inside is damp or it might separate--and it might anyway

depending how far you expand it.
