This is an AVID 888 Audio I/O. I bought it to use on the legacy port of my Protools HD system and it works well. I now have added another 192 I/O so off it goes. The unit connects as would any Protools 888 and in the software it appears as an 888/20. I noticed that the front panel metering is a slightly less sensitive than on a black-face PT888 but the signal arriving to the session is spot on. The rear panel connections are Balanced analogue in & out, AES in & out and SPdif in & out.
