 The "Gullwing" Mercedes Benz 300SL is hailed as. a truly great and revolutionary designed car with its unique roof hinged doors. The Sport Leicht (SL), chassis is multitubular providing greater strength. The aerodynamic body enabled the 3 litres straight 6 engine, developing 240 bhp. to propel at 225 kph, with. a maximum of 260 kph. The car won its first Le Mans race in 1952. This is a true German classic from the great marque or Mercedes Benz. Scale 1:43
