Flash Units from Disposable Cameras

Finally new batches of these flashes are available. I got lots of these in packs of 10 units each

These flash units are working electronics flash with long life Xenon bulb (picture of one of the flash board is shown). I will include some circuit diagram on some of the flashes, most of them works the same way so there should be no problem in adopting the diagram to other boards.

Lots of uses can be made of these units

Uses examples:

• Emergency Beacon
• Spot welding
• Electronic coil launcher
• Attention grabbing Point Of Sale flashes
• Christmas tree lighting
• Miniature 1.5 volt to 300 volt converter for CCFL
• Slave flash for Photography
• Miniature working “toy electric chair” (was shown to me by a previous buyer – it is very cute)
• Rocket propellant igniters were made by another buyer
• Simple electric fence were made by yet another buyer
• Another buyer made a bug zapper out of it
• The voltage converter packs a punch for its small size
