This beautiful dolphin statue is carved out of one piece of wood.
It was purchased in the late 90’s for $450.

Stunning timber however I am uncertain what sort.

The grain resembles oak however the colouring could be likened to Blackwood.

 

The last image shows 2 minor cracks in the fin of the largest dolphin.

If you did not know they were there it would go unnoticed.

Base width:     400mm
