This is a gorgeous, authentic Dreske-Somoff, black leather designer fashion jacket, which was made in Australia. The leather used is most likely cow hide. It is fine, smooth, soft & supple, but does have a degree of firmness. This is a relatively short jacket, so it should sit quite high (on, or just above the hips), and has a very European designer fashion style to it. There is a line of 4 metal press-down button-clips, which go from the base. and about a third of the way up. Trom there you have an over-lapping "V" shaped front, with collar and lapels which are not too wide. Ther are 4 pockets in the front, with 2 low inset side pockets; and 2 very interesting top pockets, with a sort of irregular and very wide welted/overlayed cuts and stitches. Elsewhere, there are also some interesting, finely stitched seams, cuts and overlays. The shoulders are slighly padded, and there are some leather straps around the sides of the waist, which can be tightened if desired, with dual metal 'D' rings, on either side. The inner-lining is a metallic black polyester fabric, and is in pristine condition.
The leather of the outer shell is in very good condition, and so is the design, cut and stitching, which is fine and precise throughout. There is no significant damage, tears or soiling - but there are a couple of small scuff marks, and a bit of light wear to the edges near the base - but nothing that is significant. I gather this jacket has been designed to be worn quite loose, so it is taged as a size 10, and below the size it states "To fit: Bust 80 cm, Waist 60 cm, Hips 85 cm". Please check my manual measurements above, as the bust area is much larger than the 80 cm fit suggested. This jacket will certainly fit a 90 cm/36" Bust, and there will still be room to spare.
This jacket is absolutely superb. Given the high quality of the leather used, as well as the gorgeous design style, I would expect a jacket like this to retail for up to $1,000. To avoid disappointment, use the Buy It Now option, before someone else does! It could be a long while, before you see another one of these come up for sale.
